The California State Board of Optometry (CSBO) will hold a public meeting at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, April 5, 2024. Members of the public may attend the meeting either in–person at the physical location listed above or via the Webex platform. Member Linden, Member Sims, Member Klepa, and Member Garcia will remotely participate in the meeting via the Webex platform, pursuant to Government Code, section 11123.5. A CSBO staff member will be present at the in–person meeting location.

Members of the public may, but are not obligated to, provide their names or personal information when observing or participating in the meeting. When signing into the Webex platform, participants may be asked for their name and email address. The mission of the California State Board of Optometry is to protect the health and safety of California consumers through licensing, registration, education, and regulation of the practice of Optometry and Opticianry.

Action may be taken on any item on the agenda. Items may be taken out of order to accommodate speakers or to maintain a quorum. Meetings of the California State Board of Optometry and its committees are open to the public except when specifically noticed otherwise in accordance with the Bagley–Keene Open Meeting Act.
